This meat rub is intended to be rubbed into the meat before throwing it on the grill, but I've got friends that have used it in a lot of other ways, some of which I won't mention. The level of spice flavor is dependent on how heavy you apply it, what you're cooking with it and how long you cook it. This is not a “hot” spice but it does have a “long” flavor because of some of the peppers used. It's got ingredients you just can't buy off the shelf.
